LEADER'S MESSAGE

Hi, Kosmos Friends!

November is upon us with colder nights and much shorter days. It's also the start of the busy holiday season.

Amid holiday bazaars, shopping, prepping for house guests, and the BIG Thanksgiving meal, it's easy to forget why we celebrate.

Thanksgiving is only one day, but it is a day of gratitude to reflect on all that we've been blessed with and to reminisce about holidays past. It's also a reminder of just how much we have and to help those who aren't as fortunate.

I hope you will join us for our annual Christmas Party on December 11th. It's guaranteed to be a good time and to get us all into the holiday spirit. Come visit with old friends and make new acquaintances while enjoying a delicious meal!

This month we have one breakfast, two lunches (also a third one if you join us at the Board Meeting!), two dinners, plus our usual movie matinee, and Game Day. So, keep your calendar handy!

—Donna W., Kosmos Leader

FALL FROLIC AND CHILI FEED

About two dozen members enjoyed chili, hot dogs, and sides, plus socializing at Lawrence Scott Park at our Fall Frolic & Chili Feed in October. The weather was sunny and gorgeous, if a little chilly.
