LEADER'S MESSAGE

Hi, Kosmos Friends!

I want to begin with a big thank you to Linda M. for hosting a wonderful Valentine card-making day. Besides making cards, we played Valentine games and had a great time visiting with friends. She even sent us home with goody bags. Thanks, Linda, for making it such a special day for us!

March is the beginning of Spring, with warmer weather and longer days ahead. Take time to review your calendar and join in on some of our Kosmos activities or mealtime gatherings.

ACTIVITY PLANNING MEETING

At the March Activity Planning meeting, we will be deciding on Kosmos activities for May, including finalizing plans for our annual Memorial Day outing at Hood Park.

You need not be a Board Member to attend any of our Activity Planning Meetings! We welcome you to come and bring your ideas for things to do, events to participate in, and places to eat. We're always looking for fresh ideas!!!

Directions: Take Highway 395 to Hildebrand Blvd., turning right if coming from the north (turning left if coming from I-82 to reach 395). Just past the second traffic light, at Southridge Blvd., take the first left into Affinity (across from St. Dawes St.).

Park anywhere in the parking lot (space numbers can be ignored). Go in through the main front doors, turn right, and Kosmos members will be meeting with Activities Leader Carolyn W. around a table near the lobby's kitchenette area.

CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK'S DAY AT OUR PARTY & GAME DAY

Our annual St. Patrick's Day Party will again be combined with the monthly Game Day. The festivities begin with a traditional corned beef and cabbage meal at noon on Saturday, March 15, at Claudia T.'s home in Pasco

The Club will provide corned beef, cabbage, carrots, and potatoes, prepared by Sheryl M., Susan R., and Carolyn W.

Please bring an appetizer, salad, complementary side dish, or dessert to share, plus your own beverage.

Please, you must RSVP by calling Claudia by March 10 to reserve a place at the table.

Those who wish to stay after the meal can play a variety of games that will be available as usual for our Game Days.

COME JOIN THE FUN AT OUR MARCH BUNCO PARTY

Another fun afternoon of Bunco is scheduled this month. Please note that this Bunco Party is on a Tuesday and starts at 12:30 PM.

Bunco is a dice game with players divided into groups of four who try to score points while taking turns rolling three dice. Winners at the end of a series of games win money.

For our Bunco Party, you need to bring $5.50 in one-dollar bills and quarters, plus an appetizer or dessert to share, and your own non-alcoholic beverage. Bottled water will be provided.

If you plan to attend, please call hostess Sue R. and let her know!

Directions: The Richland Library is located at the corner of Northgate Drive and Swift Blvd., in Richland, kitty-corner from Kadlec Hospital.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR OUR APRIL 26 SPRING FLING!!!

Our annual Spring Fling is being planned for April 26 at Affinity Southridge. The large patio and barbeque have been reserved there for us on Saturday, April 26. All the details will be in your April Kosmos Konnector.
