LEADER'S MESSAGE

Hello & Happy April, Kosmos Friends!

First, a big "THANK YOU" to Claudia T. for the great St. Patrick's Day Party that she hosted at her home. She had her house festively decorated for the occasion. We had a great turnout of members who provided delicious side dishes to complement the traditional corned beef and cabbage. We had a lot of fun playing games and visiting throughout the day.

I don't know about you, but I am so excited to see the trees start to bud and tulips and daffodils waving their heads in the breeze. Winter always seems to last so long, but I believe it's to make us really appreciate the beauty that Spring brings.

In that spirit, I hope that you will attend our annual Spring Fling taking place on the 11th. Details are in this newsletter, so please come and enjoy a great time and good food!

—Donna W., Kosmos Leader

Daffodils

"...When all at once I saw a crowd, a host, of golden daffodils, beside the lake beneath the trees, fluttering, and dancing in the breeze. Continuous as the stars that shine and twinkle on the Milky Way, they stretched in never-end line along the margin of a bay: ten thousand saw I at a glance, tossing their heads in a sprightly dance."

—William Wordsworth

UPDATED MEMBERSHIP LIST PROVIDED; IF YOUR INFO CHANGES, LET US KNOW!

We provided a list of then-current Kosmos members with your January newsletter, so you would have phone numbers and E-mail addresses when you want to connect with fellow members. In recent months, we've had several new members join, plus four current or former members passed away, so an updated list is included in the E-mail and postal mail versions of this newsletter.

If any of your contact information ever changes, including your home address, phone, or E-mail, please be sure to notify our Membership Leader Sandy R. by texting or calling her. You can also e-mail her.

TWO KEY POSITIONS ARE STILL OPEN ON THE KOSMOS BOARD

As noted in the Board listing in this newsletter, two critical leadership positions are vacant. The openings are due to unanticipated personal or family health issues. We need a Secretary and an Activities Leader.

If you can possibly assist in either of those positions, please contact any member of the Board or come to the April 2nd Board Meeting at the SportsPage. E-mail and computer skills are a necessity for both positions.
